Walter
Was. I got fired cause I couldn't take the strain.
Johansen
And what have you been doing since then?
Walter
Nothing. Trying to get a job, but nobody will touch my resume.
Johansen
So you spend your time at home, doing what, exactly?
Walter
Anything to keep my mind from going.
Johansen
[PAUSE] These delusions—these are not things that happened, Walter. Your neighbor isn't dead.
Walter
It'll happen though. I've seen it. Lopped her tail off, and cleaved her head with the machete.
Johansen
Why do you think your delusion is so specific?
Walter
[PAUSE] Because it's the only thing I can think about that keeps my mind from going.
