From the web comic by Jack Harper and Shia Salazar. As co-workers, it was no surprise when Victor was invited to Lecter's house to watch the game. What was a surprise was catching Lecter in a compromising position with Eliot, the small white fox who was out of place among the big military canines, in a chance encounter after the party. Caught between respect for privacy and ethical duty, Victor must forge his own path between honor and his heart.

Scene Description

Victor was going to ignore the dallying he saw leaving Lecter's party the night before, but when he finds out Eliot is working at the same military base in the pharmacy, he decides to confront the wolf. Coming to his office, the husky presses to find out what Lecter is doing with Eliot.

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        What are you doing here?                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        I didn't know your... friend worked here. You sure that's wise?                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        You saw him? Where...                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        I met him in the pharmacy. He works there, and I think you know that.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        Wh' the hell were you doin' in the pharmacy...                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        Needed a refill on my painkiller prescription, but that's not the point. I want to know why you were with that guy yesterday.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        He doesn't have any friends, so I invited him over to watch the game with us. Nothin' wrong with that.                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        It gets wrong as soon as you sleep with him. You know the rules.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        Who says I slept with 'im?                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        I know what I saw.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        This doesn't concern you!                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        What concerns me is if it was consentual. He didn't look comfortable.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        You don't think that's because you were glaring at 'im?                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        [SNORTS] I just need to make sure you aren't taking advantage of your position.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        I tell you I ain't. An' if ya ask 'im, he'll say the same thing.
