When the beavers go too far and dam up more rivers than previous treaties allowed, there's no choice for the river otters but total war. But turning a population of playful, goofy-minded mustelids into an efficient war machine is no small task, especially against their hard-working, productive rodent enemies. Still, master sergeant Deke, a career otter soldier who has dreamed of the day when his people would finally be feared, is devoted to building the finest otter infantry the forest has ever seen.

                                                        [DISTANT WARFARE NOISES]                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        Master sergeant!                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        What? Who the hell are you?                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        Corporal Fisher, sir! Fourteenth battalion--                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        Fourteenth? Well, what the cod fins are you doing here? You're supposed to be flanking the dam! You better have good news for me, soldier.                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        Yes, sir! I mean--no, sir! The battalion's in position, but--                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        But what?                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        They were expecting us, sir. The dam was built past the South bank into the forest.                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        What? They can do that?                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        We didn't know they could, sir. They opened fire on us before we were in range.                                                    

                                                        SFX                                                    

                                                        [SLAMMING TABLE]                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        Damn those beavers! Spread out the troops and march in, don't let them concentrate their fire.                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        Sir, they surprised us, we've already lost half our otters. What's left is pinned down in the trees.                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        That's still enough to march!                                                    

                                                        Fisher                                                    

                                                        Sir, they want to pull back.                                                    

                                                        Deke                                                    

                                                        No! Keep the South bank occupied! We'll get more paws on the North side, but keep that South side engaged!
