Post-Apocalyptic Action Film

Garis, a toughened loner in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, is almost killed by a marauding gang of predators. He recovers with the help of a doe from a walled city of rabbits,who risks her own standing in the village for helping an outsider -- a jackalope, no less, one of the last of his kind. The city's defenses are close to falling, though, with the same gang attacking night after night, forcing the recovering Garis to find a way to help his new community and love.

Scene Description

Ranok, the leader of the gang, is just outside the village walls with his gang, ready to attack. Garis helped set a trap that killed some of the wolf's thugs, and Ranok means to get revenge and finally break into the city.

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        There you are. It's rude to leave your conqueror waiting.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        Well, hurry up next time.                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        Huh. That was quite a mess you left for us, runt. I look forward to making what's left of your kind clean it up. And drinking your water as I watch.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        Go home, Ranok. You've lost enough already. You attack us, you'll lose more.                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        Such confidence. That's not an option any more. You've taken the blood of my men. I've come for yours.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        Just mine?                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        Oh no. Not just yours.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        Did your friends come for my blood, too, or are you dragging them into this fight?                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        My men saw what you did to us.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        And maybe they don't want it to happen to them. Did you ask?                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        My men are loyal, grass-muncher.                                                    

                                                        Garis                                                    

                                                        Then why haven't you attacked yet?                                                    

                                                        Ranok                                                    

                                                        I'll correct that. Attack!
