Everyday Drama

Don is a hard-working man raising a (mostly) growing daughter by himself after his wife died over ten years ago. His kid and his job are his life, and he struggles to find a balance. Sometimes it takes others noticing to remind him of his priorities.

                                                        You're right. I gotta pace myself with this overtime.

                                                        I don't know about you, but I like having a life outside of work once in a while.

                                                        Guess i've been avoiding it on purpose. You know how guys work harder if they're avoiding shit.

                                                        Your kid got you in the doghouse? Big Bad Don?

                                                        Naw, not so bad. She just keeps bringing up The Talk.

                                                        She's nineteen and you haven't...?!

                                                        No! God, no. The car thing. She just got her license, and she's been biting my ankles ever since.

                                                        So just get her the damn car. You can afford it with all this OT, and if you can't get her the best you sure as hell can fix what's wrong.

                                                        That's a tough one. maybe you could just avoid it, tell her you're too tired. I mean hell, it can't be far from the truth.

Against the pleas of their sole ring-tailed board member, a gemstone conglomerate opens their newest store in a city with a large raccoon population. But soon they understand the worries of that board member, when the locals discover a store full of “shinies”. In this scene, Oliver has been watching Ricky go back and forth staring inside from the sidewalk.

Children’s Adventure

In a magical forest, a community of tree squirrels believe that the first acorn on a special tree will ensure a good gathering of nuts for the winter. The chief's granddaughter Suri is entrusted to protect the acorn, but when it goes missing, she's joined by the son of the watch captain, Sidus, in searching high and low to find the acorn and save their home.

                                                        And that should do it. There you are, my lad.

                                                        What's in it?

                                                        Pine resin. Daffodil sap. Maybe even some magic. Paint it on the injured branch, and it will grow fresh bark, good as new.                                                    

                                                        Sidus                                                    

                                                        Perfect. That's perfect. I'll get this to Suri right away! Thank you, Mr. Badger!                                                    

                                                        Mr.Badger                                                    

                                                        Of course. Best of luck to you. But young man, one thing before you go.
