Project Premise

Slapstick Comedy

Raymond is a hitrat for the infamous Rodini crime family out of New York. But when his brother conspires to get rid of the don, the loyal Raymond is the first to go. Lacking the heart to kill him, his brother shoves Raymond down an unused pipe in the sewer system, getting rid of him. But when Raymond wakes up, he finds himself someplace very far from New York, where his streetwise style clashes with the saccharine locals.

                                                        Waugh! Who are you?                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        I'm Chipper! And who are you, Mr. Rat?                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        The name's Raymond, kid. And I asked for your name, not your attitude.                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        Uh—okay.                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        Hey, where am I? What is this place? This that new thing at Ground Zero?                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        This is the Rainbow Valley, a land of fantasy and dreams! Of magic and inspiration!                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        Rainbow Valley? You mean like the Village?                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        And it looks like you've been inspired to wreck my home!                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        Oh. Hey, kid, look, this ain't my fault! My lousy brother shoved me down this pipe, and now I got no idea where I am.                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        You're in my front door!                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        Yeah. Well, hey, if it's any consolation, your home got inspired to wreck my head.                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        I'll say. I hope that's raspberry jam.                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        What? Oh, mother! I'm bleeding! Quick, kid, where's the clinic?                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        Mr. Badger has healing herbs at his hut.                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        What kind of herbs? Painkillers? Antibiotics? Weed?                                                    

                                                        Chipper                                                    

                                                        I'm sure he's got weeds!                                                    

                                                        Raymond                                                    

                                                        Sounds perfect. Get me there pronto, kid.

Scene Description

Predation, Inc. is having cutbacks, and it falls on Grayson to give the bad news to the unlucky ones in his department. Dale is a good wolf, but not good enough.

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        There's no easy way to say this, Dale. I have to let you go.                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        Let me go? Why? What did I do?                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        Too few confirmed kills, prey sized below your paygrade—Predation, Incorporated expects more from our wolfpack division.                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        Sir, I've been working on my stalking and pouncing. I'll get my numbers back by the end of the month.                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        You know the company policy, Dale. It's cutthroat out there! How do you think I got to be Managing Director of Region One Carnivores?                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        [PAUSE] By being a Tyrannosaurus Rex?                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        [PAUSE] That was rhetorical, son. And somewhat species-ist.                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        Look, Mister Grayson, please give me another chance! Hunting is all I know! My family would disown me if I were the first wolf in our pack to get fired, and I couldn't live with myself----                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        Dale! Get a hold of yourself! That's no way to go out!                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        Yes, sir. [SNIFF]                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        You need to sign these papers, then security will let you have a thirty second head start.                                                    

                                                        Dale                                                    

                                                        Yes sir, I—wait, what?                                                    

                                                        Grayson                                                    

                                                        You said you wanted another chance. You live through the next eight hours, we might hire you back as a consultant. Now sign here, and don't forget your running shoes.

Drama

Samson and Hecuba are thoroughbred racehorses, husband and wife with pedigrees stretching back generations, both now retired from racing and actively raising the next generation of pureblooded champions. Hecuba is supremely proud of their breeding and heritage, and holds a position of influence within the breed. Samson, though, has come to want more from life than simply being the keeper of a bloodline, and has come to realize that that is all he will ever be as long as he remains with Hecuba.

                                                        Hecuba, what have we ever had in common?                                                    

                                                        Hecuba                                                    

                                                        We're champions.                                                    

                                                        Samson                                                    

                                                        But I don't love you anymore. And you don't love me. I doubt you ever did.                                                    

                                                        Hecuba                                                    

                                                        You don't think I love you? You come from the best bloodline—                                                    

                                                        Samson                                                    

                                                        That's all I am to you! Nothing else matters as long as your foals have the right pedigree!

When a struggling rat from Long Island gets word that his Puget Sound uncle has passed away, he finds himself inheriting a local coffee house in a wealthy suburb of Seattle. Encouraged by his mob connections to rake in that high tech cash, he tries managing the shop, but finds his New York style doesn’t always fit with Washington coffee culture.

Martial Arts Action Movie

In this scene, a fighter for one of the empires has brought his thugs to the dojo of another empire’s trainer with the mission to kill the old man.

                                                        But look how many it has brought to my dojo. I've never had so many visitors.

                                                        Don't make jokes, you old buzzard.

                                                        I'm really loving it here. I'm with a great team, everyone's super professional and pushes you to be the best player you can be.
