Drama

From the web comic by Jack Harper and Shia Salazar. As co-workers, it was no surprise when Victor was invited to Lecter's house to watch the game. What was a surprise was catching Lecter in a compromising position with Eliot, the small white fox who was out of place among the big military canines, in a chance encounter after the party. Caught between respect for privacy and ethical duty, Victor must forge his own path between honor and his heart.

Scene Description

Victor was going to ignore the dallying he saw leaving Lecter's party the night before, but when he finds out Eliot is working at the same military base in the pharmacy, he decides to confront the wolf. Coming to his office, the husky presses to find out what Lecter is doing with Eliot.

                                                        What are you doing here?                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        I didn't know your... friend worked here. You sure that's wise?                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        You saw him? Where...

                                                        I met him in the pharmacy. He works there, and I think you know that.

                                                        Wh' the hell were you doin' in the pharmacy...

                                                        Needed a refill on my painkiller prescription, but that's not the point. I want to know why you were with that guy yesterday.                                                    

                                                        Lecter                                                    

                                                        He doesn't have any friends, so I invited him over to watch the game with us. Nothin' wrong with that.                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        It gets wrong as soon as you sleep with him. You know the rules.

                                                        Who says I slept with 'im?                                                    

                                                        Victor                                                    

                                                        I know what I saw.

                                                        This doesn't concern you!

                                                        What concerns me is if it was consentual. He didn't look comfortable.

Romantic Comedy

Gabriel works at a newspaper conglomerate as an overworked but talented typesetter for the classified ads. Straight as an arrow, a bit OCD, but otherwise the Irish Setter is a good solid worker and a great guy to hang out with. Until he falls head over heels for a new mailworker, a siamese cat named Carlene. Swooning over her, he wracks his brain thinking of ways to win her over, until he comes across a personals ad *SHE* placed. Hatching a scheme to woo her, he replies as an alias, "Eduardo", and the two hit it off with written communication but soon starts mixing up his information with his alter ego as things proceed to real life work and dating encounters. Can Gabe keep all the balls juggling, or is it too late to come clean and hope for the best?

Scene Description

Despite Gabriel's efforts, Kialo's curiosity leads him to finding out about the woman his best friend wants to pursue. Gabriel may be annoyed, but he's caught and figures he might as well ask Kialo for help, despite knowing the kiwi will be a combination of jealous and vain.

Screwball Comedy

In a bizarre legal case, Enoch's minor infraction activated an undiscovered city law that required his castration. And with elections coming up, the incumbent city attorney sticks to his policy of unquestioned obedience to the law. But when a friendly doctor freezes the tissue and assures he can reattach it, Enoch begins a quest to find a loophole forcing the judicial system to give him back what's rightfully his--his balls.

Scene Description

Early in his efforts to get his balls back, Enoch figures that getting a lot of publicity for his unfortunate situation may help convince city voters to overturn the law. When the usual avenues for quick fame fizzle out, he turns to something bigger, getting a spot on a popular game show. But to make sure his name spreads as far as possible, he decides to make sure he's unlike any contestant they've ever had.

Gather ye around, and let me spin the tale of the Mighty Sir Render, the boar knight who singlehandedly ran away from every battle he ever faced, at whom cowards scoff and birds excrement upon! And tell also the tale of the fair Maiden Tiewahn, the exotic red panda princess whose hand in marriage he so desired, but could only attain if he proved his courage! It is a short story, alas...

Scene Description

Sir Render is approaching the captain of the city guard to apply for the bounty to slay a nearby beast who is ravaging the town livestock, in hopes of winning the confidence of the princess. The captain is not impressed and suggests an easier task for the known coward.

Period Adventure

It's a whole new world in 1824 Louisiana. France has sold their land to the still-new United States, and now Spain has given Florida up for a strong border West. All of that change proves too exciting for one skinny red fox growing up in deep Cajun country, the first American-born in his family. And so begins an incredible journey across the Southern states, where Barton Rouge will meet both friends and foes alike on his way through the darkest voodoo country in all the land.

Scene Description

Barton's been sneaking along the edge of the bayou, gathering up supplies for his adventure across the Southern states, on his way to the new American holding of Florida. Just before he's about to start his trip, he spots a coyote being chased by a pack of dogs. Not finding it a fair fight, the fox intervenes, grabbing the dogs' attention and leading them away from the coyote, then rounding back and helping him escape into the dark, gloomy bayou. Barton's generosity isn't without benefit. The skinny fox could use a big coyote for protection on his journey. Just has to make sure he doesn't start off on the wrong paw.

                                                        You right there, podna?

                                                        Si. Si. Gracias, amigo! I couldn’t have run much farther.                                                    

                                                        Barton                                                    

                                                        That was some mal pris you in! Them tahyo had your scent good. No lie. You lucky they won’t follow us here.

                                                        Why? What is this place?                                                    

                                                        Barton                                                    

                                                        The bayou. They see those signs and get all quaking, thinking the gris-gris be strong here. Makes every couyon go running.                                                    

                                                        Enrique                                                    

                                                        Mande? You mean this place is cursed?                                                    

                                                        Barton                                                    

                                                        [PAUSE] Nah. Of course not. You see me floating off the ground? So where you headed, podna? Going East?                                                    

                                                        Enrique                                                    

                                                        Si, yes, I am. And thank you again, my friend. If you could please point the way for me? [PAUSE] Oh. Ujule. Okay.                                                    

                                                        Barton                                                    

                                                        Same way I’m headed, if you want company.                                                    

                                                        Enrique                                                    

                                                        Sure.                                                    

                                                        Barton                                                    

                                                        Name’s Barton. So where you all from, podna? Don’t get many coyotes in the bayou.                                                    

                                                        Enrique                                                    

                                                        Enrique. We don’t get many zorros in México, either.

                                                        It’s just over the river.
