Project Premise

Comedy

An aging, failing FGA (Furry Golf Association) golfer wishes to pursue a playboy social life in between his last few tours, but there's one problem. He's married to an overly loving, doting wife. Not to worry - he has a plan! Rewrite his will to make his best friend a beneficiary, and fake his own death with his help. The problem? The golfer is as unlucky at fraud as he is on the front nine. Whatever can go wrong with his plans, do so in the most spectacular way. Guess that's just 'par for the course'!

Scene Description

Philip and Harmon are alone on a course practicing for an upcoming minor golf tour. While on the course, Philip presents his plan and presses his friend to assist.

                                                        Why do they call it a dogleg, anyhow? Could easily be a catleg. Horseleg, maybe!                                                    

                                                        Philip                                                    

                                                        Probably because of all the balls you fetch when you hit into the rough, like a good dog.

                                                        You should talk. I know albatrosses are sea birds, but you don't have to hit all your shots in the lake!                                                    

                                                        Philip                                                    

                                                        Whatever. Look, I have a proposition for you.                                                    

                                                        Harmon                                                    

                                                        Philip! I didn't know you cared!                                                    

                                                        Philip                                                    

                                                        Be serious! If this works, you can get your markers paid off and I can get away from Marilyn!

Mystery Comedy

Ichabod Crane gets transported to the 21st century from the American Revolution. He gets accompanied by a detective, Scott Davenport, who has seen the Horseman with his eyes and wants to know the truth behind Sleepy Hollow. With Ichabod's assistance, they travel across the Northeast territories for clues and relics.

Scene Description

Frustrated with his treatment shortly after arriving in the 21st Century, Ichabod sneaks away from Scott to experience the era on his own. Scott's fear at losing Ichabod is short-lived as it's hard to miss the old-timey raccoon. And after getting a chance to see the world around him, Ichabod is finally ready to explain his plan to Scott.

                                                        Quite, Scott. Not used to seeing this machine called a "car". Where are the carriages?

                                                        Wonderful. I get killed on the battlefield during the American Revolution. What’s next?

                                                        Learning how to work a smartphone? Heh.                                                    

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        What IS a smartphone?                                                    

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        Small gadgets with giant screens, where you push everything with yer finger. It IS the 21st century.

                                                        Great. I tell people I’m from the American Revolution and they laugh and don’t believe me.                                                    

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        Take it easy. I’m the only person who believes your story and that you came from the American Revolution. Also, I saw the Headless Horseman with my own eyes.                                                    

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        If we're going to stop him, we need a book.

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        One of the early fathers gave it to me as a guide. [PAUSE] Curses. We have to go back to where you found me.

                                                        Slow down, raccoon. What’s so important about this book?

                                                        Specifically, it’s a tome foretelling future events and recorded history. Also, this book also contains relics on how to banish Logram from launching a war in Sleepy Hollow.                                                    

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        Relics? Like stuff from the days of old?                                                    

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        Yes. You will need my assistance to decipher the hidden messages in the book.                                                    

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        Damn. We traveled down the rabbit hole far too long.                                                    

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        I am afraid so. The balance between good and evil is at stake.                                                    

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        No arguing there, Sherlock. My boss was beheaded by that freak. I demand answers and find out what the hell is going on.                                                    

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        I do wonder, though, if your boss knew something more. Does your sheriff have files on the Headless Horseman?                                                     

                                                        Scott                                                    

                                                        Hell if I know. Why?                                                     

                                                        Ichabod                                                    

                                                        We need his notes and perhaps figure out how to prevent the "End of Days".                                                    

                                                        Scott

                                                        I'll explain later. Right now, we need those notes and go back to the forest to find that tome.

Fantasy Adventure

When the drought runs too long, a village of coyotes grows desperate. An old coyote cry says a gift of silver and turquoise brought to the top of Arizuma mountain will bring skywater. Carol is the only adult without pups, so she reluctantly takes on the challenge to climb the mountain with the village's last riches. She understands little about the old magic she's tasked to summon, leaving her having to trust the absent-minded and disconnected ringtail who joins her on her journey.

Scene Description

Waking up from a nap early in her trip up Arizuma mountain, Caroline discovers Milton rummaging through her bag. She immediately pegs the ringtail as being a thief, even though he doesn't run when the coyote wakes up. As a lonely mountain shaman, Milton is delighted at finding a new muzzle, but can't bring himself to wake up the sleeping coyote. To him, the bag is a way to learn more about the mountain's new guest. And a way to get some delicious raisins.

Project Premise

Romantic Comedy

Gabriel works at a newspaper conglomerate as an overworked but talented typesetter for the classified ads. Straight as an arrow, a bit OCD, but otherwise the Irish Setter is a good solid worker and a great guy to hang out with. Until he falls head over heels for a new mailworker, a siamese cat named Carlene. Swooning over her, he wracks his brain thinking of ways to win her over, until he comes across a personals ad *SHE* placed. Hatching a scheme to woo her, he replies as an alias, "Eduardo", and the two hit it off with written communication but soon starts mixing up his information with his alter ego as things proceed to real life work and dating encounters. Can Gabe keep all the balls juggling, or is it too late to come clean and hope for the best?

Despite Gabriel's efforts, Kialo's curiosity leads him to finding out about the woman his best friend wants to pursue. Gabriel may be annoyed, but he's caught and figures he might as well ask Kialo for help, despite knowing the kiwi will be a combination of jealous and vain.

Worse yet, these things are getting Simon in trouble with his friends, wife, authorities, and total strangers! Could it be a spirit from the mirror mimicking him, intending to take over his life? Or is it just insanity?
