Project Premise

Horror Thriller

Fired from his stock broker job due to stress, Walter Benswar finds the opposite problem of being unemployed and stir crazy while waiting for employment. He begins to question his sanity when he starts hallucinating his apartment neighbors dying in gruesome ways, and not being able to tell if he was committing the murders in a stupor of ennui. Until he hallucinates his OWN death.

                                                        Walter, can you hear me?

                                                        Yes, doctor.                                                    

                                                        Johansen                                                    

                                                        I'm not a doctor, but I am a psychologist. I'm here to talk about your—

                                                        Of course. Before I do, though—your file says you are a stock broker?

                                                        Nothing. Trying to get a job, but nobody will touch my resume.

                                                        So you spend your time at home, doing what, exactly?                                                    

                                                        Walter                                                    

                                                        Anything to keep my mind from going.                                                    

                                                        Johansen                                                    

                                                        [PAUSE] These delusions—these are not things that happened, Walter. Your neighbor isn't dead.                                                    

                                                        Walter                                                    

                                                        It'll happen though. I've seen it. Lopped her tail off, and cleaved her head with the machete.                                                    

                                                        Johansen                                                    

                                                        Why do you think your delusion is so specific?                                                    

                                                        Walter                                                    

                                                        [PAUSE] Because it's the only thing I can think about that keeps my mind from going.

Comedy

When a struggling rat from Long Island gets word that his Puget Sound uncle has passed away, he finds himself inheriting a local coffee house in a wealthy suburb of Seattle. Encouraged by his mob connections to rake in that high tech cash, he tries managing the shop, but finds his New York style doesn’t always fit with Washington coffee culture.

                                                        No, we threw it out last night.

                                                        Well, it's a safety concern. See, our lead mechanic is a sparrow...

Drama

At one time this was a dog's city, but the rats organized themselves in the sewers, biding their time, slowly chipping away at the power structures above. Now the rats have taken over, running everything above and below ground, forcing the dogs into a leashed subclass with no hope to regain their freedoms. That is until one terrier steals a map to the sewers and plans an attack to retake the city.

                                                        Oh, I don't think you'd care to hear it.

                                                        [PAUSE] Little story. The sewer under downtown. We didn't build that, you know. Dogs did, back when they broke ground on the city.

                                                        Too bad it was shit. Unsupported pipes, flows being pushed uphill, just stupid construction.                                                    

                                                        Craft                                                    

                                                        No one's making you stay there.

                                                        By the time I showed up, it was all fixed up. New pipes, extended network, none of that mess you dogs just love to leave behind.

                                                        Oh. I suppose I should thank you, then.

                                                        We already got our thanks. It was the mayor--your mayor--who signed the order. And he was so happy with how much cleaner we made the city, he didn't even ask for a map when he gave us the check.

                                                        Guess he thought only honest men did good work. You certainly showed us, didn't you?

When he finally had the opportunity, he took it and made his life in the city, breaking his family's heart and alienating his friends. But after realizing the city is just as savage as the forest, he comes back to regain his place. But will the pack take him? Or has he burned that bridge, and must now use the savagery he gave up to reclaim his identity?

                                                        No. It's not alright. The alpha trusted you, and you lifted your leg on him to be a softgutter! As far as we're concerned, you don't have a place here!

Project Premise

Horror Thriller

An unsuccessful seagull sculptor spends his last dollar on a replacement chisel in a garage sale, and finds it makes the most beautiful sculptures with hardly any effort, but only of people. Despite his new financial success, he feels increasingly scared and nervous that the sculptures are whispering dark thoughts to him, commanding him to kill the sculpture's subjects in cold blood. It's only when his subjects start dying at gruesome and horrific ends that he fears the sculptures are controlling his paw to kill, falling deeper into a break with reality with each chipping of marble! Is it a cursed implement, or insanity gripping his mind? Whichever it is, it must be stopped soon, before his wife meets her doom at the end of a chisel.

                                                        [PAUSE] Thomas, let's stop. I- I don't want this sculpture anymore.

                                                        I haven't finished putting the detail on your beak! I've got to finish it TONIGHT! You should know! You won't let me rest until I do!

                                                        [PAUSE] Thomas, please, come with me to the doctor's, okay? We'll get you sorted out. I want my seagull back with me tonight, not down here.

                                                        You stupid - I can't stop it halfway! And YOU - You keep telling me to finish it! Why are you always harping at me? You keep MOCKING me! Project Premise

Screwball Comedy

In a bizarre legal case, Enoch's minor infraction activated an undiscovered city law that required his castration. And with elections coming up, the incumbent city attorney sticks to his policy of unquestioned obedience to the law. But when a friendly doctor freezes the tissue and assures he can reattach it, Enoch begins a quest to find a loophole forcing the judicial system to give him back what's rightfully his--his balls.

Scene Description

Early in his efforts to get his balls back, Enoch figures that getting a lot of publicity for his unfortunate situation may help convince city voters to overturn the law. When the usual avenues for quick fame fizzle out, he turns to something bigger, getting a spot on a popular game show. But to make sure his name spreads as far as possible, he decides to make sure he's unlike any contestant they've ever had.
