Project Premise

Slapstick Mystery

Big Apple's most well-known private investigator is Jack Tracker, while Thomas Tracker is his not-so-well-known half-brother who's worked every type of menial job under the sun just to try to develop a career as a comedian. Usually the young bloodhound would get financial assistance from his more successful older brother, but on one visit to his office Thomas finds Jack slumped over his desk quite dead with no obvious signs of foul play. Suddenly thrust into the dark world hidden within the city's streets, the joker must use his wits and his humor (and a lot of luck and help) to solve the mystery of his brother's death.

Scene Description

Thomas has gone in the rain to the gated retirement community of Wild Acres to look up his brother's old partner Benjamin Vessit to not only relay the bad news but to also recruit his help with investigating his brother's demise.

                                                        Oh, Tom! Jack's brother, right? Have a seat.

                                                        [SCRAPE OF CHAIRS ON FLOOR]                                                    

                                                        Thomas                                                    

                                                        Uhh, err, where are your clothes?                                                    

                                                        Benjamin                                                    

                                                        Heh, clothes? I haven't worn any since I retired and moved here, pup. Didn't the sign at the gate warn you about this community?                                                    

                                                        Thomas                                                    

                                                        I wasn't paying attention, actually. Could you put some clothes on?                                                    

                                                        Benjamin                                                    

                                                        And restrict my pelt from the natural flow of air around my body? You should really try it, pup, might help you relax.                                                    

                                                        Thomas                                                    

                                                        Look, Mr. Vessit, I really need your help! Jack bought the farm and—                                                    

                                                        Benjamin                                                    

                                                        No kidding? Never thought he'd actually retire to the country.

                                                        You were wise to heed my message.

                                                        How could I miss it? You painted it on my door!

                                                        I was out of Post-It Notes. But now, I will show you the consequences of your transgressions!                                                    

                                                        Tommy                                                    

                                                        Transgre—Hey, I was born a dude.                                                    

                                                        Gypsy                                                    

                                                        What? No, no, no! I want vengeance for the heinous crimes you've committed against my people!                                                    

                                                        Tommy

                                                        The worst possible thing in the history of the Gypsies! You cut in line in front of my sister at the convenience store last week!

                                                        But she got out of line to look at a fashion magazine!

                                                        You made her miss the ending of Romanian Idol! This is unforgivable! And for that, I curse thee!                                                    

                                                        Tommy                                                    

                                                        Oh, God. You used an old word and everything! This is bad! Please don't curse me!

                                                        Too late! I curse you to have women find you unattractive in bed! [LAUGHTER]                                                    

                                                        Tommy                                                    

                                                        That's it?

                                                        Well, I'm new to the curse thing. I'm working my way up. But you have been cursed! Cursed! And you will live with it forever! Forever!

Scene Description

In this scene, Captain Striker has been captured by the evil Galactic Enclave and is about to be presented with his torture by his nemesis Dengor, Qi-Rao of the Supreme Order.

                                                        Ahh, Captain Striker! Hate to see you again.                                                    

                                                        Striker                                                    

                                                        Likewise, Dengor. How 'bout you just unlock these restraints so that I can properly give you the greeting you deserve!                                                    

                                                        Dengor                                                    

                                                        But then you'd miss out on the torture that I prepared especially for you! And we can't have that now, can we?                                                    

                                                        SFX                                                    

                                                        [WHIRRING OF MACHINERY]                                                    

                                                        Striker                                                    

                                                        You'll never break me, you scaly bastard!

                                                        I would hope not! It'd be so much better if you resist, especially before you are converted to our cause of universal domination.

War Movie

When the beavers go too far and dam up more rivers than previous treaties allowed, there's no choice for the river otters but total war. But turning a population of playful, goofy-minded mustelids into an efficient war machine is no small task, especially against their hard-working, productive rodent enemies. Still, master sergeant Deke, a career otter soldier who has dreamed of the day when his people would finally be feared, is devoted to building the finest otter infantry the forest has ever seen.

Project Premise

Action Adventure

In a steampunk world where air travel is king, a retired border collie weapons designer tries to come to terms with having killed thousands with his inventions in a war between wolves and dogs. He finds a chance at redemption when he rescues a pair of kidnapped wolf pups and enlists the help of a pit bull pilot struggling to prove herself in a male-dominated business. Together they'll take a floating barge across the islands fighting local patrols and the remains of the bloody war to bring the wolf pups home.

Children’s Adventure

In a magical forest, a community of tree squirrels believe that the first acorn on a special tree will ensure a good gathering of nuts for the winter. The chief's granddaughter Suri is entrusted to protect the acorn, but when it goes missing, she's joined by the son of the watch captain, Sidus, in searching high and low to find the acorn and save their home.

                                                        Oh no, no, no, no, no! The magic acorn is gone!                                                    

                                                        Sidus                                                    

                                                        See? What did I tell you?

                                                        I was trusted to keep it safe! Oh, why did I go to the river? We'll starve unless we find it!

                                                        Suri! We'll get it back. We'll find who took it and put it back on the tree before the gray tails know it's gone.

                                                        Took it? Who would have taken the magic acorn?

                                                        Who? Those ground squirrels, that's who. I'll bet they got a crow or a porcupine or even a fox to come up here and snatch it.

                                                        That's a terrible thing to say, Sidus! What if it just fell?

                                                        No, look! See? The stem was cut. They took the magic acorn, Suri.

                                                        Oh no. We have to tell the gray tails. They have to know.

                                                        You'll get in trouble.

                                                        I deserve to get in trouble! I was supposed to watch the acorn!

                                                        But we know where it is! I'll get my dad to round up the watch. We'll head to the plains and demand those grounders give it back.
